Eligibility Criteria for NEET Application 2018

Nationality: Initially students should be a citizen of India. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will also be qualified to apply for the NEET 2018 Examination.

Aadhaar Card:  Students should have done Aadhaar Card apply to NEET 2018 Examination.

J&K, AP and Telangana: Candidates of J&K, AP and Telangana are qualified for All India 15% quota according to the self announcement.

Education Qualification: Students should have done the 12th or senior secondary examination from any recognized board. They should have intentional Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English as a compulsory subject. Students should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the 12th standard examination. The marks criterion for the students of the SC, ST, OBC students is 40%, this criteria is 45% for PH students.

Age Limit:

Minimum age limit for Eligible Candidates: 17 Years as on 31st December 2018.

The upper age limit was before set to 25 years, but it was removed in the year 2017. For the SC ST and OBC students the upper age limit will be 30 years.

  • For OBC Category: 27%
  • For SC Category: 15%
