Haryana Police Constable Syllabus 2017 for General Awareness:
Current Affairs – National & International, Burning Issues and Disputes, Committees & Commissions, Important Places, Famous Personalities, Major Settlements, Appointments, Books & Authors, Judicial Decisions, Abbreviations, Sports, Miscellaneous etc.
HSSC Constable Syllabus for Reasoning Ability:
Analogies, Differences, Similarities, Problem-Solving, Space Visualization, Decision-Making, Analysis & Judgment, Discrimination, Visual Memory, Directions, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, Coding-Decoding, Arithmetical Number Series, Figural Series, Verbal & Figure Classification, Data Sufficiency.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Applicants who possess any extra height over and above the minimum prescribed standard for recruitment shall be awarded additional marks, called benefit score as per scale agreed here under:

The Personal Interview shall be of total 10 marks. Further distribution of 10 marks for the Interview shall be as follows:
- Education: Candidate with higher education that is with Graduate degree shall get one mark; while, candidate with Master Degree shall get total 02 marks.
- NCC Certificate: Candidate having highest NCC certificate of A, B or C, level shall get 01, 02 and 03 marks respectively.
- Interview cum Personality Test (I-PT) test maximum 05 marks.
